About Us

We are delighted and excited to be opening a new nursery in the grounds of Booker Hill Primary School. Opening in September 2026, Little Bookers Day Nursery will be in addition to our existing nursery, located in North London, which we have successfully run for the past 38 years.

We pride ourselves on being hands-on proprietors, with both of us being early-years practitioners, having worked in childcare for over 40 years. We know the early years sector inside-out and are committed to delivering an extremely high, but most importantly, consistent, standard of childcare.

In addition to our extensive early-years experience, we are both accredited Counsellors, registered with the BACP, Parent & Child therapists, and trained ADHD assessors. At our existing nursery, we already offer an on-site counselling service for children and families, and we intend to offer the same support at Little Bookers Day Nursery.

Little Bookers Day Nursery will be a neurodiversity-aware setting and will include a designated sensory room. Our existing nursery has a proven record of successfully identifying children who have then benefited from early intervention and ensuring the right support is put in place well before they start school — particularly for children needing support with speech and language development.

Our staff team will include an experienced SEND practitioner who is highly skilled at identifying at supporting young children who may need additional help, working closely with families and other professionals to ensure children are well supported and ready for their next steps into school.
